The month of June is an important time of the year for seniors. It means graduation, prom, and of course the highly anticipated senior class trip. This year, the trip is to Six Flags New England on June 6th, the day right before one of the most important days for seniors, prom. The low cost of the trip makes many seniors want to enjoy a day of amusement park fun for nearly half the usual cost and transportation is provided.<\/p>\n

Seniors are anticipating having a fun day at Six Flags to spend with their friends. The low cost of the trip entices seniors to participate. For a day of fun, the park usually charges about $55.00 for one ticket. That\u2019s assuming one would also pay the $20.00 parking fee as well as buying about $20.00 worth of food. Instead, seniors are only required to pay $27.00. Seniors like Kevin Crossley plan on going due to this incentive. <\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone else seems to be going and it is extremely cheap,\u201d Crossley stated.<\/p>\n

Emili Antos, one of the seniors planning not to attend the trip said, \u201cI would go, but, it\u2019s the day before prom and I don\u2019t want to get sun burnt or have to worry about awkward tan lines.\u201d<\/p>\n

For women, wearing prom dresses that have different cuts and straps comes with the inevitable fear of having discoloration in pictures. Prom is an event that is remembered and looked back upon for years to come. A few seniors want to play it safe and skip the class trip to guarantee picture perfect memories. <\/p>\n

Though some seniors are opting out due to the fact that it is the day before prom, two thirds of the class have decided that it is worth the risk of a possible sun burn for a day at Six Flags to remember. Whether or not one participates, senior end of the year activities like the trip, prom, and graduation are sure to be enjoyed. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
