Students prepare to get on an airplane, anxiously waiting to get on board, tickets in hand, ready to give to the ticket taker. Other students pack their luggage\u2019s in the car, getting in with their family, ready to suffer the long car ride. Many teenagers went on vacation during Spring Break. Two students from Trumbull High went on very different vacations. One student traveled to one of the states here in the U.S., Florida, while the other student went all the way to Europe, London to be exact.<\/p>\n

Clear, blue skies, eighty degree temperatures every day is what Lauren Ozdemir, a senior, experienced during her April break. Her family took off the Friday before break and decided to drive down to Florida. When she arrived, she immediately got her luggage, put it in her hotel room, took off her \u201cConnecticut\u201d clothes, and put her \u201cFlorida\u201d clothes on. <\/p>\n

Walking out of the hotel room, she had her bathing suit on, with a sundress over it, sunglasses and a book. Oh, and the sunscreen! Every day she and her sister would both go to the beach or pool and tan from the sun. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was so hot, but it was worth it. I\u2019d rather be in Florida with nice weather than Connecticut, with cold weather!\u201d Ozdemir said. Towards the end of her trip, her and her family went to Disneyland. \u201cIt was so much fun! I would go on this trip again\u2026and even live here!\u201d <\/p>\n

Another senior, Lauren Tavella, experienced spring break in London. Tavella left the Thursday night before break since the airplane takes between seven and eight hours to get to London. When she arrived, it was raining, but it was better than Connecticut. Lauren went to a lot of different places while in London. <\/p>\n

\u201cI, my sister and my mom went on tours of quaint English villages. It was pretty cool to see that. We also went to castles, and on a Jack the Ripper tour. It was kind of creepy, knowing where he killed his victims.\u201d <\/p>\n

She mainly stayed in London, but went to many different towns around. There was also a One Direction concert that was held there. <\/p>\n
