{"id":5020,"date":"2018-11-14T07:55:57","date_gmt":"2018-11-14T12:55:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thseagleseye.com\/?p=5020"},"modified":"2018-11-14T07:55:57","modified_gmt":"2018-11-14T12:55:57","slug":"boring-walls-get-some-fresh-faces","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thseagleseye.com\/?p=5020","title":{"rendered":"Boring Walls Get Some Fresh Faces"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ali Karpowich \u201819<br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EE <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contributor<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5024\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5024\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/thseagleseye.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_0925.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5024 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/thseagleseye.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_0925-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5024\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photos of past THS Musical productions now hang near the auditorium.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the past few years, pictures showcasing athletes had been put up near the gymnasium and throughout the front of the school, but to the surprise of many students, photos from past musicals were hung up in the lobby near the auditorium on Friday, September 21st. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gabriella Alarcon, a junior and participant in the Spring musical said, \u201cI think it\u2019s a great start on making all the students feel more accepted.\u201d \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe school wanted to create a much more homey feel for the students and blowing up these amazing action shots of our students really brought a new life to the school\u201d said Mr. Pijar, the Dean of Students. Pijar has been an avid photographer for years and thinks the pictures are \u201ca great spirit and moral boost.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mr. Pijar wants all kids in Trumbull High to feel welcomed and thinks that images of students engaged in classroom activities or labs would also spice things up a bit. \u201cThe walls are too boring,\u201d he admitted.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Senior class president Nigel Hayes is \u201cso happy\u201d to have the new pictures in the school. \u201cIt gives a good glimpse into Trumbull High\u2019s activities.
