Their matchup for the championship game is against the No. 1 Darien Blue Waves which will occur tonight, June 9th, 2022 at Pomperaug High School at 5:00.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> So far in the state tournament, the Eagles have defeated No. 14 Norwalk, No. 11 Conard, and upset No. 2 Glastonbury on June 7th in the semifinals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The No. 3 Eagles will now face the undefeated Darien Blue Waves for a third time this season as they are a part of the FCIAC division as well. The only two losses the Eagles have this season are from Darien. One in the regular season and the other in the FCIAC championship game.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the semifinal game, the Eagles defeated the Glastonbury Tomahawks 3-1. The final scores of the four sets were 25-22, 19-25, 27-25, 25-19.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This win came from whole team efforts as every player had a role.
