Trumbull scored a touchdown 2 minutes into the first drive of the game, led by Senior quarterback Hunter Agosti who threw for 185 yards and 3 touchdowns with huge help from his receivers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Senior Luca Antonio, Senior Jack Durland, and Senior Ben Carley each contributed with one receiving touchdown apiece.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The running game is crucial for this Eagles team, averaging about 209 rushing yards per game with solid performances by Junior running back Rowan Johnston. In this game, he accumulated 175 yards rushing with 3 touchdowns. It felt like every time he ran it was for positive yardage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Stamford made some noise coming out of the half but Trumbull was able to maintain the pressure to help secure the victory.
