\u201cGet in losers!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, the Trumbull High THeSpians are putting on a production of Mean Girls in our very own Robert E. McCarthy Auditorium. This musical follows the story of Cady Heron, a homeschooled junior who moved from Kenya with her parents back to Illinois, and now has to attend a regular high school. <\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>She finds herself entangled with the \u201cPlastics\u201d,\u00a0 Regina George, Karen Smith, and Gretchen Weiners as Janis Sarkisian and Damian Hubbard show her what going to high school is like.<\/span><\/p>\n

With over one hundred cast and crew members, our THeSpians are working very hard to make the production as fun and exciting as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

This show is directed by our very own Mrs. Spillane with Mr. Bracksieck as our head of production, along with Jerold Goldstein as the Music Director and Sally Hong as the choreographer.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI’m so excited to be a part of this production. Everyone has worked so hard and has dedicated so much time to this show, and we\u2019ve really created a tight-knit, warm and welcoming family,\u201d says junior Catalina Mozzo, who portrays Janis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Senior Nora Watson, who has taken on the iconic role of Regina George, told us that, \u201cthe musical is always the highlight of my year. I look forward to the weeks of hard work we put in to make such a wonderful production”!<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Not only does this production have a fantastic and interactive set, but also spectacular dance numbers, including styles of hip-hop and tap, powerful and invigorating songs, and a hilarious and witty story. <\/span><\/p>\n

Cali Pelletier, a junior in the dance ensemble, has said, \u201cIt really is like a family, and it\u2019s so inspiring to see all of the hard work everyone puts in to produce such a spectacular show. Being a part of the musical is truly an unforgettable experience that I encourage anyone even vaguely interested in to start getting involved with it because it\u2019s definitely not something you want to miss out on”.<\/span><\/p>\n
