Get ready Trumbull High, because Trumbull\u2019s Got Talent is officially here! <\/span><\/p>\n

This Thursday, students and teachers alike will take the stage to perform songs, plays, and a menagerie of other unique activities and shows.<\/span><\/p>\n

Instituted last year as a way to generate school spirit in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, the talent show became a huge success making over $1300 for charitable organizations!<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, organizers Mr. Kief Doyle and Ms.Breanne Brienza hope to eclipse that total even further. All profits from the show will go to the non-profit organizations of LivFree and My Friend Abby.<\/span><\/p>\n

LivFree assists children in their fight against pediatric cancer by providing them with abundant sources of entertainment and experiences to keep their spirits up. My Friend Abby on the other hand focuses on improving the well-being and mental health of teenagers and students around the world; this especially includes those who have dealt with or have been diagnosed with serious mental health disorders. <\/span><\/p>\n

Talent shows in particular, serve as a phenomenal way for students with social anxiety (or just a general fear of public performance) to demonstrate their talents in a low-pressure environment. The acts are not graded in any order from best to worst and each one is applauded by a supporting audience of students and teachers no matter what the outcome.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last year\u2019s winner Sean \u201cMagician\u201d Choi and his magical shenanigans will be making a reappearance once again, and with magic skills like that it is almost impossible to resist the urge to come see what he might pull off. <\/span><\/p>\n

With tickets only at $5, Trumbull\u2019s Got Talent serves as a great bargain and distraction from your Thursday night schoolwork (as well as the nasty snow outside) while supporting two phenomenal charitable organizations. To top it all off, the star-shattering acts of its performers are more than enough to guarantee the price of admission on its own.<\/span><\/p>\n
