Multi-hyphenate singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer Freya Skye has released a new single Can’t Fake It<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fifteen-year-old Freya, first captivated audiences in December of 2022 when she represented the UK in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest with her hit single, Lose My Head<\/em>. Freya clinched the top spot in the global public vote, a triumph viewed by over 33 million people. In the same contest, she won fifth overall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>A native of Buckhampshire, England, Freya has been passionate about singing and acting since the tender age of five. Freya\u2019s artistic journey has been featured in two BBC documentaries, providing inside glimpses of her Eurovision experience and her burgeoning pop career. Freya performed on the BBC\u2019s \u201cChildren In Need\u201d and has appeared on the CBBC\u2019s \u201cSaturday Mash-up\u201d, \u201cNewsround\u201d, \u201cThe Blue Peter Christmas Special\u201d and \u201cStrictly- It Takes Two.\u201d Freya will be appearing in Season 9 of the popular Canadian teen drama, \u201cThe Next Step\u201d as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During lockdown, the singer-songwriter took the opportunity to release her debut single and write more songs, including <\/span>I Love The Way<\/span><\/i>, which featured on BBC Introducing. In her spare time, Freya enjoys cuddling up with her dog Ruby and watching movies or teaching herself the piano.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
