It is getting down to the wire. Some seniors are rushing to get in all of their college applications in by their deadline, while others are anxiously waiting for acceptance letters. It is that time of the year when many seniors are starting to hear back from colleges and others are getting antsy wondering as to why they haven\u2019t heard anything.<\/p>\n
As you scroll down twitter, you will see half the students tweeting about how stressed they are due to college applications, and the other half tweeting how happy they are to know they are in.<\/p>\n
Senior Gabby Gottschall tweeted, \u201cBucknell class of 2017\u201d after she stayed up late to be informed online if she was accepted or not. \u201cI cried of joy when I found out I got into the college I have always dreamed of going, and the stress was over.\u201d<\/p>\n
With just one click or the opening of one letter, your whole future can change. \u201cAll of my siblings went to Tampa University and I was excited to carry on the tradition when I found out I got in,\u201d stated senior Kylie Rotanelli.<\/p>\n
It seems that seniors, such as Gabby and Kylie, who applied either early action or early decision have relieved some of the pressure from senior year. Knowing they are into the college of their choice makes them realize why all of the hard work was worth it.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, there are people who have yet to apply. The pressure is building up as deadlines are approaching.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlong with many tests and quizzes before break, I still have to complete all of my college applications,\u201d complained senior Allie Passero. For students who are not done or have not heard back, are holding their breath in anticipation. Soon enough those envelops will arrive followed by excitement, depression, or even doubt on the situation. Your future may be decided, and it is hard to believe that the year has finally arrived.<\/p>\n
All the college searches, constant battles between students and school all seem to pay off just when you read one little word, \u201cCongratulations!\u201d For those who have yet to hear back or apply, the suspenseful wait continues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
