You can never go wrong with warm and tasty snickerdoodles, especially when the weather outside is pretty cold. With that being said, why not try the recipe below for these delicious cookies!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For this recipe, you will need:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 3\/4 cups all-purpose flour<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 teaspoons cream of tartar<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 teaspoon baking soda<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">16 tablespoons (2 sticks or 8 ounces) unsalted butter, at room temperature<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 3\/4 cups sugar, plus more if needed<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 tablespoons ground cinnamon, plus more if needed<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 large eggs<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*note: this makes three dozens of 3-4 inch cookies<\/p>\n<p>Procedure<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0, with one rack in top third and one rack in bottom third of oven. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Line baking sheets with silicone baking mats or parchment paper<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, combine butter and 1 1\/2 cups sugar. Beat on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scrape down sides of bowl. Add eggs, and beat to combine.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add dry ingredients, and beat to combine.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leave the dough in your refrigerator for an hour (or you can overnight) before scooping it<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once dough has chilled, in a small bowl, combine remaining 1\/4 cup sugar and the ground cinnamon. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use a small ice-cream scoop* to form balls of the dough, and roll in cinnamon sugar.
