When I think of fall, I think of pumpkin spice and warm apple pie fresh out of the oven. With cinnamon, brown sugar, and juicy apples, these wonderful treats will get you ready for fall. I\u2019m always on the lookout for simple recipes, and when I saw these fall snacks, I was immediately hooked. These quick and easy recipes are great for warming up on a crisp autumn day!<\/p>\n<p>Recipe #1: Apple Crumble<br \/>\nIngredients:<br \/>\n4 Granny Smith apples (cut in half)<br \/>\n\u00bc cup olive or canola oil<br \/>\n1 stick unsalted cold butter (melted)<br \/>\n8 tablespoons light brown sugar<br \/>\n1 teaspoon ground cinnamon<br \/>\n\u00bd cup granola<br \/>\n1 pint vanilla ice cream<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>1. Heat the grill to medium (an oven may also be used).<br \/>\n2. Place apples in a medium bowl and toss with the oil.<br \/>\n3. Then place the apples on the grill, cut-side down and grill until browned.<br \/>\n4. Flip the apples over and continue to grill until nicely browned. Remove from grill and allow to cool.<br \/>\n5. Once they are cool enough, core and cut the apples into wedges. Place the apple wedges into a bowl and toss with \u00bd teaspoon ground cinnamon, 4 tablespoons light brown sugar, and \u00bd stick of melted butter.<br \/>\n6. In another bowl, toss the remaining butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar with the granola.<br \/>\n7. Place one large scoop of ice cream into 4 bowls and top with the apple mixture. Finish by sprinkling the granola mixture over the top.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thseagleseye.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/lifestyle5.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-3854 size-thumbnail\" title=\"Photo courtesy of recipetineats.com\" src=\"http:\/\/thseagleseye.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/lifestyle5-150x131.png\" alt=\"lifestyle5\" width=\"150\" height=\"131\" \/><\/a>Recipe #2: Spiced Hot Chocolate<br \/>\nIngredients:<br \/>\n\u2154 cups white sugar<br \/>\n\u2153 cup cocoa powder<br \/>\n2 tablespoons ground cinnamon<br \/>\n\u00bd teaspoon cayenne pepper<br \/>\n1 pinch of salt<br \/>\n4 cups whole milk<br \/>\n1 tablespoon vanilla extract<br \/>\n\u00bd cup heavy whipping cream<br \/>\n1. Whisk sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and salt together in a small bowl<br \/>\n2. Bring milk to a boil in a saucepan, whisking constantly. Whisk in cocoa mixture until dissolved, reduce heat to low, and simmer until flavors combine (around 5 minutes).<br \/>\n3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.<br \/>\n4.
