When I think of Saint Patrick\u2019s Day, the color that immediately comes to mind is green. You can never go wrong with some delicious green cupcakes and frosted sugar cookies. Short on time? These are the perfect recipes for you!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recipe #1: Cupcakes <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ingredients:<br \/>\n<\/span>1 package (18.25 ounces) white cake mix<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 \u00bc cups water<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2153 cup vegetable oil<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3 egg whites<br \/>\n<\/span>8 drops green food coloring<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instructions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F. Line a standard muffin tin with paper cup liners. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beat the cake mix, vegetable oil, water, and egg whites until smooth. Fill the cupcake liners \u2153 full with white batter. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stir 4 drops of green food coloring into the remaining mixture. Pour \u2153 of the green batter into a resealable plastic bag and set aside. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mix more food coloring into the remaining bowl of green batter until it is a darker green and pour the batter into a resealable plastic bag. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cut a corner off the bag, stick the bag into the center of the white batter in the liner and squeeze out 2 tablespoons of green batter. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cut the corner off the bag with the lighter green batter, stick the bag into the center of the dark green batter in the liner and squeeze out 1 tablespoon of lighter green batter. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bake the cupcakes in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool completely before frosting. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Decorate!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recipe #2: Shamrock Cookies<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ingredients:<br \/>\n<\/span>1 \u00bd cups butter, softened<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5 cups all purpose flour<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 teaspoons baking powder<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4 eggs<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 teaspoon vanilla extract<br \/>\n<\/span>2 cups white sugar<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Icing (optional)<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sprinkles (optional)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instructions: <\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a large bowl, mix together the butter and sugar until smooth. Then, beat in the eggs and vanilla. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, and salt) in a separate bowl. Once combined, gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until fully mixed. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cover the dough and place in the fridge to chill for about 1 hour (or overnight). <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it is around \u00bc to \u00bd inches thick. Using a shamrock-shaped cookie cutter, cut out the cookies and place 1 inch apart on a tray lined with parchment paper. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bake for 6 to 8 minutes. Cool completely. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Decorate!
