Whether it\u2019s a classic plate of chocolate chip cookies and a side of milk or a freshly store-bought peppermint candy cane, there are so many options to try. We recommend making treats at home and have provided a list of recipes for you to try this holiday season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Honey Gingerbread Trifles<br \/>\n<\/b><b>Ingredients:<br \/>\n<\/b>1 cup sour cream<br \/>\n1 cup honey<br \/>\n1 large egg (room temperature)<br \/>\n\u00bc cup canola oil<br \/>\n2 \u00bd cups all purpose flour<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp salt<br \/>\n1 tsp baking soda<br \/>\n1 tsp baking powder<br \/>\n2 tsp ground ginger<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp ground cinnamon<\/p>\n<p><b>Pudding Layer:<br \/>\n<\/b>2 cups (2% milk)<br \/>\n1 package (3.3 oz.) instant chocolate pudding mix<\/p>\n<p><b>Pumpkin Mousse Layer:<br \/>\n<\/b>1 cup (2% milk)<br \/>\n1 package (3.4 oz.) instant pumpkin spice pudding mix<br \/>\n1 carton (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed<\/p>\n<p><b>Directions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<br \/>\n<\/span>Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0. Mix sour cream, honey, egg and oil until well blended. In another bowl, whisk together the rest of the ingredients (flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, ginger &amp; cinnamon); slowly beat into sour cream mixture. Pour into a greased 9-in. square baking pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean; 25-30 minutes. Cool in pan for 5 minutes. Remove to a wire rack to cool completely.<\/p>\n<p>To assemble, cut the cake into 1-in. cubes. In a 3-qt. trifle bowl or other glass serving dish, layer a third of the cake cubes, white chocolate pudding and pumpkin mousse. Repeat layers twice. After that, mix in the powdered sugar one cup at a time.
