These days, however, many people are creating a new tradition: watching their favorite holiday movie.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Picture yourself sitting amongst your family, curled up next to the fire. In your hand is a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows and playing on the wide screen TV in front of you is the Christmas movie <em>How the Grinch Stole Christmas<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>Made possible by improvements in technology, holiday movies are quickly becoming a popular tradition with the centennials and the younger generations.  Ask any child who Mary Lou is and they\u2019ll correctly answer: \u201cShe\u2019s the little girl in the Grinch! Duh!\u201d If you asked this same question to an older folk, while they might give you a politer answer, odds are that they have no idea who this little girl with a pushed-in nose and iconic braided pigtails is. <\/p>\n<p>Topping the holiday movie charts are <em>Elf, The Polar Express<\/em>, and <em>The Nightmare Before Christmas<\/em>. These three movies were all made within the past 10 years therefore targeting this generation\u2019s youth. They are captivated with the interesting plots, funny dialogue, and classic Christmas spirit. <\/p>\n<p>Senior Amanda Burtnett says \u201c<em>Elf<\/em> is my favorite Christmas movie of all time.
