You hear the roar\u00a0 of the trucks engine come to a halt.\u00a0 He\u2019s here. And he knows you\u2019re home.\u00a0 His footsteps thump up your walkway, each step increasing the rate of your heartbeat.\u00a0 \u201cMaybe he won\u2019t notice me,\u201d you think.\u00a0 But it\u2019s too late.\u00a0 He sees the light on inside your house.\u00a0 You huddle up against the door and\u2026BANG BANG BANG!!!!! His large hands pound hard on your door, and you can feel it rattle your bones.\u00a0 You gather what tiny bit of courage you have and fling open your door and come face to face with\u2026your mailman delivering the long-awaited Halloween costume catalog.\u00a0 *Enter evil laughter.* Yes, my pretties, Halloween is upon us once again.\u00a0 That night where magic is at its highest peak, and the creatures of the night come to play.<\/p>\n

This October 31st, so many young and old will escape reality and head out into the night on a blissful masquerade.\u00a0 It\u2019s fun, is it not? Being something different.\u00a0 To escape yourself for one night and become something you\u2019re not? Who wouldn\u2019t want to dress up as his\/her favorite character from a book? While some go for more frightening costumes, such as Jigsaw or Freddy Krueger, there are people who dress up all kinds of \u201cblah words\u201d and go as a fairy or maybe their favorite superhero.\u00a0 Sometimes whole families get into the act, dressing up as perhaps the Addams Family or the Avengers.\u00a0 But, costumes are part of what makes Halloween so fun! Classic or creepy? Cute or haunting?<\/p>\n

Still, the one other thing on every teen\u2019s mind is\u2026C-A-N-D-Y… because it\u2019s the sweetest reward on the night.\u00a0 Shouts : \u201cI got a chocolate bar!\u201d \u201c I got Jolly Ranchers!\u201d \u201c\u2026\u2026.I got a rock.\u201d Though I doubt any of you will be turned into a poor Charlie Brown, everyone\u2019s got a favorite! That one sweet treasure you cannot live without? Be it gooey or chewy, it\u2019s what everyone comes out for Halloween night! Sugar rushes all around!<\/p>\n
