Hi, I’m back with another show for you to watch! It’s taken me a while to find one to recommend with all of the shows that are out lately. This time it’s The Amazing Digital Circus by Glitch Productions!
The plot revolves around the main character, Pomni, who ends up in a strange digital world called The Amazing Digital Circus. In this very colorful world, run by the AI Cane and Bubble, there are five other humans trapped as well that are named Zooble, Jax, Ragatha, Gangle, and Kinger. Each character has a specific personality, and a unique cartoon-y design.
But there is just one problem. How can Pomni and the others get out? While Cane tries to distract her, Pomni starts trying to find exits, and in her search, she finds no way out. It appears that the others had given up a long time ago.
So instead of sitting around all day doing nothing, Cane comes up with a new adventure for every new day. Each one is different, and holds a new conflict in which the characters have to trust each other, or end up betraying one another.
Overall, at first I wasn’t so sure about this series, starting with a 5/10, but then as I got into the two most recent episodes, my opinion on it has grown, and I would like to move it up to an 8.5 out of 10. They could have improved the beginning episodes, and given a more persistent personality to each character throughout the series, or show them slowly change over time. In the end, I enjoyed the latest episodes the most, and can’t wait to see what happens in the near future with the last (most likely) two episodes of season one.
