“It would be a privilege to have my heart broken by you”, is one of the most popular quotes from the hit novel The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Now that the movie trailer and cast has been released, a whole new excitement has been seen from the TFiOS (The Fault in Our Stars) fandom.
6 out of 7 students at Trumbull High said they would definitely be attending the movie when it comes out. The amazing cast contains Shailene Woodley (The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Divergent, The Descendants) as Hazel Grace Lancaster and Ansel Elgort (Divergent, Carrie) as Augustus Waters.
The author of the #1 New York Times Bestseller, John Green, has been overseeing the production of the movie. According to an interview done with Entertainment Weekly, he was said to have been “nervous seeing footage from the film for the first time. ‘I really loved it. It’s everything I wanted the trailer to be.’”
The students at Trumbull High School are more than thrilled for this movie to be released. “I’m so excited for Ansel Elgort, who plays Augustus Waters. John Green is my favorite author and youtuber. Its so exciting that his book is being turned into a movie” freshman Rachel Nagy says.
“I’ve been waiting for the movie for so long, but I still don’t think I’ll be ready for the ending because its so sad” Anna Francisco says.
