Recently, the Trumbull High School Link Crew program, a freshman transition and support club run by student leaders, was recognized for its participation in the Twentieth Annual Challenge to Educational Citizenship Awards Program. Link Crew received this honor as a result of its inaugural “Pay it Forward” program. Link Leaders hung a trail of hundreds of colorful, multilingual arrows around the school, detailing acts of kindness “paid forward.” Now, the hallways empower nearly 2,500 students and faculty to continue the chain of positive actions.
