Spring is almost here, and for Trumbull High School, that means that THeSpians’ annual Spring Musical is quickly approaching! This year, THeSpians have been working hard during music rehearsals, crew, and choreography auditions to put on the renowned musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Joseph is a sung-through musical based on the biblical story of Joseph from The Book of Genesis. We learn that Jacob has twelve sons, with Joseph being his favorite. Jacob wants to show the world how much he loves Joseph, so he presents Joseph with a multicolored dreamcoat. Joseph’s brothers are angry and jealous, and through song, you will be able to understand their perspectives. The show features narrators, who tell the story through song, along with a large ensemble.
